Happy Friday the 13^th to all our blog followers out there! We had a wonderful few days at Rancho Margot, full of new and exciting experiences unique to what both the Villa and Village crews have experienced thus far. After a tearful goodbye to our travelers in arms, our village veterans piled into the bus to begin the second leg of their adventure. Along the winding dirt road out of the mountains from Rancho Margot, the group sang a beautiful rendition of popular “Harry Potter the Musical” numbers sung by Camila, Eve, Frankie, and Dee, while others built sleeping bag forts and reminisced about the events of the last few days. We made a stop at Las Pumas, a big cat rescue center, to see some of Costa Rica’s more impressive wildlife and learn about their endeavors to protect it. The capuchin and spider monkeys were a huge hit, along with a supporting cast of jaguars, pumas, toucans, and ocelots to name a few. We are now back at Villa Huetares in Playa Hermosa ready to take on whatever tomorrow brings our way!
