Communication with your child this summer

We advise students and parents to use e-mail as a primary means of communication this summer. If parents would like to email a message to their child, the Foundations staff would be happy to print the letter out and hand deliver it to students at community meeting. In addition, your child will have an opportunity to phone home roughly once per week. It is important to note that it will be much easier for your child to reach you than vice versa.

If you must contact your child, you can e-mail/call/fax the Foundations office in Costa Rica (see below). E-mail is preferred and phone calls should be limited to important communication only. Unless it is an emergency, please plan to call between 9:00am and 12 noon local time (11:00 am – 2:00 pm EDT).
